The aim of the Sorelle Academy Ltd is to ensure that all students experience our classes in a fun, friendly, positive and safe environment. In order to achieve this, please take note of the following guidelines. We would like to stress that these points are of great importance in assuring the wellbeing of all students in the School.

It is class etiquette to arrive on time. Students continually late for class may miss vital information and will impede the learning of others and potentially place themselves in risk of injury should they miss the warm up section of the class.

Regular attendance is extremely important. If students do not attend on a regular basis then the development of the class and the individual student will be affected. Attendance at the school will be monitored and students who fail to attend classes regularly will jeopardise their position in productions or further more at the school.

We ask for at least one months notice should the child no longer require their position at the school. Failure to give notice may result in fees being owed.

Illness and Injuries
Sorelle Academy aims to provide a safe learning environment to reduce the risk of injury. It should be recognised by all students, parents and guardians that dance by nature carries an element of risk of an injury or accident. Sorelle Academy provides qualified and experienced teachers, who actively promote safe practice. The school accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained via any means other than a teacher's negligence. It is the students, parents or guardians responsibility to notify their teacher in the event of injury/medical condition which is being treated or may be of concern prior to class. If your child is ill, please do not send them to class. If a child suddenly becomes ill during classes, we will phone their parent or guardian and they will need to be collected. A first aid kit will be on site at all times, along with at least one member of staff first aid trained staff.

Students are expected to behave in an orderly, civilised and well-mannered way. Students must have respect for their teachers and other students in their class. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations may result in withdrawal from the School.

Pupils at Sorelle Academy have the right to learn free from intimidation and fear. Sorelle Academy will not tolerate any bullying behavior and any reported incidents will be taken seriously and thoroughly investigated.

Our dress code must always be observed. Children are required to wear a Sorelle Academy T-shirt as a minimum requirement. T-shirts are to be worn with leggings or tracksuit bottoms. Hair must be neat and off the face. Pupils should not wear any jewellery that may pose a risk to themselves or others. Footwear must be correct for safe dance practice.
